Ameren Missouri Energy Efficiency Programs help customers save energy and money.
Ameren Missouri is committed to energy efficiency as an important partnership with customers for Missouri’s energy future. In 2013, Ameren Missouri launched ActOnEnergy®, a comprehensive portfolio of energy efficiency programs offering a variety of options for customers to save energy and money. These programs, along with previous efficiency options, have saved customers enough energy to power 96,000 average Missouri homes.
The Ameren Missouri energy efficiency programs are exceeding savings goals and are on target to reduce energy use by more than 800 million kilowatt-hours by the end of 2015 – the equivalent of reducing carbon emissions by taking approximately 116,000 vehicles off the road. “By offering rebates and incentives, we are helping customers afford energy efficiency improvements that will not only save them money on future energy costs, but also help lower our future generation needs and related emissions, saving customers billions of dollars for decades to come,” said Dan Laurent, director, Energy Efficiency and Renewables.
The programs offer a wide variety of energy-saving opportunities for both business and residential electric customers, from reduced prices on energy efficient lighting, to efficient HVAC replacement rebates, and appliance recycling incentives. “Ameren Missouri energy efficiency programs are beneficial to customers, the state of Missouri and the environment,” says Laurent.
Ameren Missouri will have experts on hand to answer questions and educate visitors about the benefits of energy efficiency and cash-back rebate programs at the St. Louis Earth Day Festival. Visit the tent to spin the wheel to win prizes and learn how you can enter a drawing for a chance to win a new iPad.
Guests will also be able to learn about the company’s renewable energy initiatives, including the state’s largest investor-owned solar energy center. Customer Care agents will be on site too and can enroll you in paperless billing options on the spot.
