Vendor & Exhibitor Information
The St. Louis Earth Day Festival is a community tradition to learn about sustainable products and services offered by local businesses and organizations, meet local area non-profits that share Earth Day values, as well as showcasing local entertainment and local Green Dining Alliance restaurants.
Types of Vendors
Regular (non-food) Vendors
This includes all businesses and not-for-profit organizations with a sustainability focus. No application is required; however a registration form must be submitted.
Each registration will be reviewed to ensure that the vendor/exhibitor is appropriate for the Earth Day mission. Booths are more engaging with an activity or demonstration.
If you are a very small non-profit/business or a crafter/artist who likes to sell their works but maybe it’s not your main source of income, we do allow booth sharing. You have to arrange it, and then just let us know in your registration who you are sharing with. The invoice will only be sent to the one registering. Both names will be listed in the program.
If you prefer your own booth, but need help with the booth fee, email festival@earthday-365.org for our Special Circumstances application. This has to be done before registration closes.
Sponsors
Sponsorship is a way to enhance Festival participation, boost visibility, and support an important community tradition. Packages start at $2000.
To discuss sponsorship opportunities, contact Jess Watson director@earthday-365.org prior to submitting your booth registration.
Educational Activity Provider
This classification is only for booths focused on the facilitation of an engaging environmental education activity.
We are looking for content-rich activities to inform, entertain, and inspire festival attendees with a focus on environmental, conservation, and sustainability topics.
Food Vendors
Earth Day Cafe features local food vendors (restaurants, caterers, and food trucks) to serve diverse, tasty, and sustainably-sourced food and beverages at the St. Louis Earth Day Festival.
This is NOT typical fair food. Green Dining Alliance (GDA) certified restaurants and food trucks will receive first preference to participate.
Farmers and Producers
For those who grow things (plants/animals) or make a product from what they grow. For example, growing peppers to make salsa, bees for honey, or goats for cheese. This is NOT for crafts/art/soap/etc. vendors who sell at farmers’ markets.
Even if you do not have produce to sell in April, this is great way to spread the word about your farm/products.
We hosted a very well-attended Festival Vendor Meeting April 5th to go over setup and logistical details.

> Vendors are fully encouraged to offer products and services that are in keeping with the environmental spirit of Earth Day, including give-a-ways that are useful and can be recycled if discarded.
> We strongly discourage giving out individually wrapped candy or lollipops as it adds to the waste stream and often causes extra littering.
> Help reduce your environmental impact by minimizing the number of printed materials on hand and by collecting email addresses for future electronic (paperless) promotion.
> Vendors/exhibitors are screened for their commitment to sustainable business practices or products.
> Only exhibitors with an established sustainability offering are permitted at the event.
The St. Louis Earth Day Festival attracts a diverse, highly-motivated demographic ranging in age and interest. Many attend as a family or with a group of friends. Attendees are united by the desire to discover environmental tips in a fun way. We also draw many who are new to the sustainability movement, making the Festival an ideal setting to promote your product or service.
Vendors with affordable items ($5-$50) do well. Promoting higher-end products is encouraged, but onsite sales may be limited. Vendors promoting services report a strong correlation between this event and leads/new clients. The Festival is an ideal platform for collecting contact information for future promotion.
The St. Louis Earth Day Festival is organized into themed groups, such as “Nature” and “Sustainable Marketplace” Each vendor area is referred to as a “Neighborhood,” which provides easy navigation. Each Neighborhood is easily identified by Festival signage, a listing in the program, and the program map. The premium Muny covered walkway area is composed of a variety of vendors/exhibitors/sponsors. Many vendors and visitors alike prefer this area as it is somewhat protected from the weather and on concrete.
The Festival footprint on the Muny grounds in Forest Park is a mix of open grassy fields, tree filled grassy fields, streets, and the covered walkway that surrounds the Muny building. See the layout from the 2024 Festival. There will be a few changes for 2025.
