2025 By the Numbers

2025 was a year of resilience, growth, and meaningful impact for earthday365. While shifting federal policies and funding uncertainties created real challenges for climate and environmental justice work nationwide, our community stayed focused, adaptable, and committed to what matters most. Thanks to the dedication of our volunteers, donors, sponsors, staff, and partners, we not only sustained our programs—we strengthened them.

Together, we expanded the Green Dining Alliance to more than 100 participating restaurants and launched a new Green Dining District in Webster Groves. Through our Environmental Justice Days of Action, volunteers removed twice as much trash as in 2024, responding directly to tornado damage and supporting neighborhood recovery. We helped lead efforts to advance the return of alley recycling in the City of St. Louis, laying critical groundwork for more accessible and equitable waste solutions.

These achievements reflect what’s possible when a community comes together with determination, collaboration, and shared purpose—even in challenging times.
