This childhood memory has sparked a vision for Ronald to turn vacant lots throughout the city into food forests and orchards filled with pollinator-friendly native plants to combat food insecurity.

To complete his passion for gardening. Ronald became a Master Gardener in Dec. 2020 through the Missouri Botanical Garden program and was featured in the New York Times article “The Promise of Pawpaw” that same year.
