…and food is the centerpiece of many of our holiday memories. So, why not make it as environmentally sustainable as possible? Well, the Green Dining Alliance is here to help you with all your holiday food needs.

Many GDA restaurants are offering sustainable food options to take home to your family for your holiday feast (or perhaps Friendsgiving). From locally sourced, pasture-raised turkeys to made-from-scratch pies filled with sustainably-harvested produce. To make it easier for you to find out what GDA restaurants are offering holiday menus, we compiled this list with information on their offerings and how to order.

Big Sky Café

Big Sky Café, located in Webster Groves, has an array of options for your holiday feast. They are offering a brined Buttonwood turkey and dressing, spinach and dried cherry salad, shaved Brussels sprouts and field greens, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, maple mashed sweet potatoes, various desserts, and so much more! The Blue Duck

The Blue Duck wants to give you a break from a rough year by taking on your holiday cooking load. For the holidays, they are offering smoked turkey pot pie, braised green beans, brown sugar glazed carrots, roasted Brussels sprouts, whipped sweet potatoes, red smashed potatoes, dinner rolls, assortment of pies, French macarons, and tres leches bread pudding. Flavor 360

Flavor360 is one of the GDA’s catering businesses, which means they are more than prepared to offer food your full house. From Traditional Stuffing and Maple Roasted Brussel Sprouts all the way to sweet Caramel Apple Pie, these house-made Thanksgiving favorites will keep your hands free and your heart and belly full. They’ve got everything else ready – you bring the turkey! Place your PRE-ORDER today for pick up on Wednesday, November 23 (the day before Thanksgiving!). Delivery upon request for an additional fee. Salt + Smoke

Salt + Smoke wants to ease your cooking pain this holiday season. Check out their holiday menu, which features turkey with gravy, brisket, mac & cheese, Hawaiian rolls, Thanksgiving Pie, green beans and tomato salad, 16 oz. batched Manhattans, and Maker’s Mark Private Select “watershed” Batch. SqWires 

SqWires Restaurant wants you to relax on the cooking this holiday and spend more time enjoying your friends and family. Take home and reheat for your Thanksgiving celebrations! Their holiday menu features roasted turkey, stuffing, skin-on mashed potatoes, turkey gravy, roasted balsamic Brussels sprouts, sweet potato Gruyere bake, green beans and caramelized onion casserole, fresh cranberry sauce, dinner rolls, and apple, pumpkin, and pecan pie.
