We are committed to providing a positive experience for guests with disabilities. Guests who require accessible parking and have a disabled placard can park in the Lower Muny parking lot.
Our festival takes place on both paved surfaces and grassy areas. Please note that in the event of rain, the grass may become muddy or slippery, which could impact mobility for guests using wheelchairs, walkers, canes, or other mobility aids. We recommend using mobility equipment suited for mixed terrain, if available, and planning routes accordingly.
The following accessibility options will be available:
  • Accessible portable restrooms near curb cuts will be available at all restrooms and marked on the festival map.
  • ASL interpreters will be present during the awards ceremony on Saturday at 1:00pm on the Main Stage.
  • A sensory tent will be available for individuals who benefit from a controlled sensory environment. It will be located near the entrance to the Youth Corner and identified on the festival map.
  • A First Aid station will be available across from the Information and Volunteer tents and marked on the festival map.
  • While picnic tables will be available around the festival, we recommend that individuals who cannot stand for long periods bring their own chair.

St. Louis Earth Day COVID Protocol

The safety of our community is important to all of us. The Covid-19 pandemic is an ever-evolving situation and we will follow local and CDC guidelines for safety. Our additional COVID protocol includes the following:

  • The St. Louis Earth Day Festival is an outdoor Festival in Forest Park with a large footprint, but we recommend attendees wear quality face masks when attending the Festival.
  • Booths will be more widely spaced to create room for crowd flow.
  • Additional hand sanitizing stations will be offered throughout the area.
  • Face masks are required when riding the UMSL shuttle buses from the Community College to the Festival.
