Metro Station Closed – Public Transit Alternatives

ALERT: Due to the closure of the DeBaliviere Bridge at Forest Park Parkway as part of the Loop Trolley Project, The Forest Park DeBaliviere MetroLink Station will be closed on Earth Day.

Metro riders can reach the Recycling Extravaganza and the free Earth Day Shuttle at St. Louis Community College-Forest Park Campus via the #59 Dogtown which connects with the Central West End MetroLink Station. Click here for the route.

Festival-goers can also walk or bike from one of Metro’s two other MetroLink Stations near Forest Park.

• The festival grounds are 1.3 miles (25 minute walk) west of the Central West End MetroLink Station. Click here for the route.
• From the west, the grounds are 1.6 miles (30 minute walk) from the Skinker MetroLink Station. Click here for the route.

Note: Festival-goers will not be able to walk from the area north of the closed Forest Park MetroLink Station into the park. West End residents wishing to walk should access the park via Union Blvd.
