October Festival Announcement

To our dedicated St. Louis Earth Day Festival supporters,

Challenge accepted, 2020! You keep throwing us curveballs, and we at earthday365 have been working hard to come up with creative solutions. Yes, it is true: in the best interest of public health, we will not be able to have an outdoor St. Louis Earth Day Festival in Tower Grove Park as planned on October 18th.

Instead, we have planned a unique Green Curbside Hop on October 15th which combines a socially distanced treasure hunt through the streets of Maplewood for delectable green dining treats with a gift bag full of items from a wide variety of St. Louis Earth Day Festival vendors. We have worked hard to provide a connection to the Festival experience in a fun and safe way that supports the St. Louis sustainability community. You can register or learn more about the Green Curbside Hop here.

We are also revamping our Festival as a Virtual Earth Day Half-Birthday Festival, and will streamline our live events with a focused line-up of Environmental Changemakers, while incorporating more video and interactive elements (including a virtual scavenger hunt) into our Festival Experience Areas.

2020 has been about finding new ways to be together, separately. Over the last 31 years, the St. Louis Earth Day Festival has built up an amazing community of folks, like you, who care about sustainability and work to make the world a little greener every day. Please stay connected with us and if you can, offer your support through a donation to ensure the Festival can return in 2021. Your commitment is more important now than ever.

Yours in sustainability,

Dr. Jess Watson & the earthday365 team
