Recycling Extravaganza in 2016

The Recycling Extravaganza continues to provide hundreds of community members from the St. Louis region an opportunity to responsibly dispose of hard-to-recycle items. Held in partnership with the St. Louis Community College – Forest Park Campus, our collection event for hard-to-recycle items continues its success. In 2016, about 600 vehicles unloaded materials to be collected by 20 organizations and businesses for reuse, recycling or appropriate disposal. Over 64,000 lbs. or 32 tons of waste was saved from going in the landfill!
