South Grand movie night for the environment

On Friday, October 2, St. Louis Earth Day, in collaboration with the Missouri Coalition for the Environment, and the South Grand Business District, will present a free screening of “Inhabit: A Permaculture Perspective.”

During the Spring, Summer, and Fall of 2013, film makers Costa Boutsikaris and
Emmett Brennan documented over 20 permaculture sites in a range of rural, suburban,
and urban environments. They explored a breadth of response to local and global
challenges from issues of food, water, and medicine, to governance, economy, and culture.

Grab dinner from one of the Green Dining Alliance-certified restaurants (Rooster, Lulu’s, Gelateria del Leone, The Royale, The Dam) on South Grand and the surrounding neighborhoods, bring a chair and meet us in Ritz pocket-park for this movie. Complimentary native seedlings from Greenscape Garden‘s Pollinator’s Palette will be given to the first 100 attendees!

Don’t let the first night of fall scare you away – come early to get a seat by the fire or borrow a lap blanket!
