St. Louis Earth Day Announces Its New Executive Director

On behalf of the Board of Directors of St. Louis Earth Day, I’m delighted to announce that we’ve hired Jen Myerscough as our next Executive Director. Jen joined the St. Louis Earth Day team in the summer of 2014 after earning her Masters of Science in Sustainability from Saint Louis University. She has demonstrated a strong aptitude for leadership, organizational management and relationship development over the past year in her role as Communications and Marketing Manager for the organization.

Jen takes over the helm of St. Louis Earth Day following the departure of our Director of the past six years, Cassandra Hage, who accepted a position with Washington University as Sustainability Manager earlier this month.

We feel St. Louis Earth Day is in the strongest position it has ever been with one of the largest Earth Day festivals in the country, three robust programs-Recycling On the Go, Green Dining Alliance, and Earth Day Action Grants, and a strong and talented staff poised to propel the organization forward, making sustainability a real and permanent part of everyday life in St. Louis.

Join me in welcoming Jen in her new role!

Sincerely,

Traci Lichtenberg
President of the Board of Directors
St. Louis Earth Day
