St. Louis Zoo Citizen Science: iNaturalist Training – 11:30

Citizen Science in your own backyard. This is a recorded 41 minute training to learn how to use the iNaturalist app so that you can participate in the City Nature Challenge. Identifying animals and plant species the old fashioned way was pouring through field guides written by expert naturalists to compare their pictures to what you have seen. The iNaturalist app will connect you directly to the naturalists and scientists to help you learn about the natural world where you live. Take a photo, and the app provides identification suggestions or an expert views your image to identify it. Learn how by watching now!
