The airport just got a whole lot more festive!

On Tuesday, Programs and Communication Director, Jeanette Reynolds and REFAB Founder, Eric Schwarz descended upon the Lambert-St. Louis International Airport with a van full of St. Louis Earth Day goodies. The mission? Turn sixty feet of display space into a mini-Earth Day Festival.

For the second year, the Lambert-St. Louis International Airport and the City of St. Louis have supported the Festival in many ways — not least of which is providing this space in the baggage claim area of Terminal 1 to showcase the event and highlight other St. Louis non-profits which share our mission. This year, we were able to incorporate items from the EarthWays Center of the Missouri Botanical Garden, Perennial, the St. Louis Teachers’ Recycle Center and the U.S. Green Business Council-Missouri Gateway Chapter into the display.

The display will be up through the end of April. Hop on the MetroLink for a visit!

We’re always looking for perfect opportunities to show off the Mayor’s Earth Day Proclamation.
