Volunteer at LouFest.

THANK YOU for your interest. We are NO longer accepting volunteers – our shifts are full! If you’d still like to volunteer for Recycling On the Go this weekend, contact us about helping out at Festival of Nations!

If you haven’t volunteered with Recycling On the Go at LouFest, you’re not only missing out on a great concert (duh!), but also on the opportunity to help divert over 5000lbs of waste from area landfills!!!

When you think about, that’s pretty amazing… 9,000 people over the course of two days and less than 20% of the waste produced in 2011 ended up in landfills. Everything else? Off to start a new life as post-consumer recycled products or rich soil and mulch.

Trust us, this is just as fun as it looks. An important job on the event site is making sure that all the waste collected gets to the right place.

Join us for what’s quickly becoming a ROG tradition. Email or call Jeanette (jeanette[at]stlouisearthday[dot]org, 314.536.0111) to sign up for a shift:

Saturday, August 25th
12pm – 4pm
3pm – 7pm
6:30pm – 10:30pm

Sunday, August 26th
12pm – 4pm
3:30pm – 7:30pm
7pm – 11pm

Oh yeah, and don’t forget to check out the line-up. Volunteer perks include: a wristband to the day of the event during which you volunteer, a LouFest water bottle, a St. Louis Earth Day shirt (while supplies last), and the admiration of each and every one of your fellow music lovers out in Forest Park.

Volunteer to help in one of our signature Recycle Stations where you can help concert-goers figure out what's compostable, recyclable or headed for the landfill.

Read more about volunteering with Recycling On the Go.

There will be two Volunteer Training sessions. Both will be held at our offices.
