St. Louis Composting is HIRING a Retail Sales Associate at their Valley Park Facility.
The position is Monday through Saturday, 40 hours per week. Pay is $9 – $10.50 an hour depending upon experience. If the applicant is a college student, St. Louis Composting can work to accommodate his/her school schedule.
Job Requirements:
- Must present and neat and professional appearance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Retail/Customer Service experience
- Cash handling experience
- Capacity to learn product lines and sell them to customers
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Talent for handling customer requests and complaints
- High degree of reliability and flexibility
- Capability to stand several hours per day
St. Louis Composting, Inc., the region’s largest producer of STA-Certified Compost, Mulch Products and Soil Blends is seeking a Retail Sales Associate for its Valley Park location. This position entails handling customer transactions both in person and over the phone. A love for and knowledge of gardening is helpful along with an outgoing personality. Other basic skills needed include: computer skills, telephone skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to work as part of a team by communicating and interacting effectively with associates and customers.
