Groups are welcome to volunteer at the Festival. Group leaders should email volunteer@earthday-365.org to facilitate assignments and shift details. All volunteers that are part of a group (company, organization, etc.) need to register individually.
Who Volunteers?
Both individuals and groups volunteer to help with event set-up or during the event. All individual volunteers must be 16 years of age or older. Those younger than 16 years of age may volunteer if accompanied by an adult or as part of a group which has an adequate number of adults.

Get your Festival T-shirt!
Volunteers that register by March 18th are guaranteed a free t-shirt in their size! After March 18th, t-shirts are available on first-come-first served basis.
VOLUNTEER PRE-CHECK-IN ORIENTATION

All volunteers are strongly encouraged to stop by and pick up their volunteer information packet w/ instructions, parking pass, ask questions, and pick up their official St. Louis Earth Day Festival Volunteer t-shirt!
Volunteer groups: a representative from your group can stop by to obtain this important information to share with the rest of the group and pick up your group’s t-shirts. Please make sure to know the name of your volunteer group.

VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION PARTY
May 2024 – Time & Place: TBD
As a sign of our gratitude, we will provide an Earth Day t-shirt for each volunteer who registers by March 18, 2024. Register after March 18th and shirts and sizes are available until stock runs out. Volunteers are also treated to tasty snacks, beverages, a special volunteer meal appropriate to their/his/her shift time, and a post-Festival party in May.
In the event there is information we need to disseminate quickly to all Festival volunteers during Festival, we encourage all of our Festival volunteers to sign up for a special text alert service. We will have more information at the Volunteer Orientation.
Volunteer Waiver & Photo Release
I do hereby for myself, my successors, heirs, and assigns, fully and completely release and hold harmless earthday365, all producing partners, sponsors and affiliates of earthday365 and their officers, servants, agents, and employees from any and all claims, demands, and actions that I may have, or that my successors, heirs, or assigns may have, on account of loss, damage, or injury, including personal injury or death that I may sustain while volunteering for the St. Louis Earth Day Festival, April 19-21, 2024.
I do hereby voluntarily assume all risks, known and unknown, from volunteering with earthday365. The parties to this agreement understand that this document is not intended to release any party from any act or omission of “gross negligence,” as that term is used in applicable case law and/or statutory provision.
I understand that earthday365 and its partners do not provide compensation, except as otherwise provided by law and that a volunteer does not have the status of benefits of an employee. I understand the position that I will perform.
I hereby irrevocably consent to earthday365, its employees, officials, agents, and representatives, for valuable consideration received, to use, authorize, and assign unlimited permission to use, publish and republish for any purpose whatsoever, by earthday365, or anyone authorized earthday365, any and all photographs and video taken of me without further compensation to me. All such photographs and video shall become the property of earthday365.
I HAVE CAREFULLY READ THIS RELEASE, HOLD HARMLESS AND AGREEMENT NOT TO SUE AND FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENTS. I AM AWARE THAT IT IS A FULL RELEASE OF ALL LIABILITY AND SIGN IT ON MY OWN FREE WILL.
