For the second year, in partnership with the St. Louis Community College – Forest Park Campus, we held a collection event for hard-to-recycle items on the same day as the Festival. Last year 331 vehicles dropped off materials, this year 757 vehicles were unloaded and materials collected by 18 organizations and businesses.
The following was diverted from area landfills and dump sites:
